Sofia Korsakova

Sofia Korsakova is a concert organist based in Switzerland. A laureate of international competitions, she leads an active concert life performing in Europe, Russia, the UK and Norway.

Originally from the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, Sofia graduated from the Kazan State Conservatory with degrees in both organ and piano performance. It was during her studies that she discovered her true calling in the organ, which has since become the heart of her artistic focus. She went on to complete a master’s degree in organ performance at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where she is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in church music.

Sofia is also a church organist, currently she holds the position of principal organist at the Reformed Church Rigi Südseite and the Catholic Church Gersau.

Passionate about broadening the appeal of organ music, Sofia is dedicated to promoting the visibility of women in the field and bringing the concert organ tradition to new audiences. In addition to her concert work, Sofia serves as a church organist in the canton of Lucerne. 

Sofia also engages with a broader audience through her professional Instagram blog, where she introduces her audience to the world of organ music.
